New Delhi, Thu, 31 Jul 2014 NI Wire

In a bid to reply the former Congress leader Natwar Singh on the latest controversy about his book, Congress President Sonia Gandhi has said that she will write her own book and only then everyone can know the truth. She has said that now she is serious for the same and she will be writing the book.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi was responding on the controversy raised by former Congress leader Natwar Singh regarding his upcoming book. Yesterday he has made some serious revelation regarding issue of Prime Minister Post for Sonia Gandhi and her refusal.

It is noted that former Congress leader Natwar Singh Singh had alleged that Mrs Gandhi's decision to not take up the post of Prime Minister in 2004 was not because of an "inner voice" and he said that it was the opposition of her son Rahul Gandhi who was reportedly worried that she would be assassinated like his father Rajiv Gandhi and grandmother, Indira Gandhi, both former Prime Ministers.

Congress has also criticized Natwar Singh for the incident and said that now it has become fashion to create sensation before launching of a book. Party Spokesperson Ajay Maken said that these days it has become fashionable to sensationalise the contents of a book with the sole aim of ensuring better sales and free publicity.

Another spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi has also commented on the issue with similar remarks.
