Sanyukt Jat Aarakshan Mahasangh wants reservation in Maharashtra and Center for Jats in the OBC category which includes Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs jats. The Federation held its meeting at Hare Rama Hare Krishna temple in Juhu, Mumbai.
Actor Vindu Dara Singh, the National Khadi Gramoudyog Federation President Anil Kumar Singh; National general secretary of the federation Dr Madanapal Singh, Dilbagh Singh, film producer - director Ravi Bhatia and others graced the event. Everyone paid homage to the late Dara Singh.
Dara Singh, who was president of the federation, was instrumental in delivering OBC status for Jats in nine states, including Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh etc. In addition to Maharashtra, the federation also wanted reservation for Jats in the Central Government.
Actor Vindu Dara Singh, who has acted in many films and serials, was honoured on the occasion. Vindu Dara Singh Said, "We requested the Centre and the Maharashtra government for reservations for Jats. We are preparing a 5-km long demand letter for the prime minister.”"/p>
