North Delhi Municipal Commissioner Mr. Praveen Gupta today inspected different areas in Civil Lines Zone. He was accompanied by Engineer-in-Chief Mr. Anil Prakash, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Vijay Kumar Bhidhuri and senior officials of other departments.
Mr. Gupta visited the municipal primary school in Timarpur and Bhai Parmanand Colony. He also inspected mid-day meal supplied in the school.
He directed the officials concerned to proper clean and desilt of the drain near Shanti Swaroop Marg. The Commissioner also took stock of all water pumping stations at Dhakka where six pumps have been installed to drain out storm water. He also directed that the drain in E-E block of Jhahangir Puri be cleaned and silt removed which is lying around.
He also gave the directions that dhalao at Patel Chest and Ghanta Ghar be cleaned.
