In a bid to celebrate the 96 th birth anniversary of the charismatic South African hero Nelson Mandela, Google released an impressive doodles on him. The doodles presented in very attractive way on the home page of Google, is displaying a glimpse of the life and teaching of the Nelson Mandela.
The doodles highlight the complete life and journey of the African Hero and its president. It also showcases the lifestyle of the Mandela on his 96 birth anniversary. Mandela who is known as the ‘Madiba’, was born on July 18, in 1918.
Young Mandela was a boxer and he fought a long battle for the independence of the Country. His struggle has today become an ideal for many of the people of the world. He first became a part of the ANC (African National Congress) and rose to prominence during the ANC's Defiance Campaign in 1952.
Mandela was also a lawyer and he started his law practice in 1949, and was majorly involved in helping set free those members of the ANC convicted by the state.
He died last year on December 5 when he was 95 years old then.
