The movie is directed by Tanushri Chattrji Bassu and stars Tanuj Virwani, Aditya Seal, Izabelle Leite, Sarika and Rati Agnihotri in lead roles. The film is based on the belief that like old jeans (Purani Jeans in Hindi) friendship also gets stronger and better as it gets older.
Kya Dilli Kya Lahore ()
Among the upcoming Bollywood movies this one can only be truly touching with disturbing political elements. This political and social period film based on the real life story of two soldiers fighting for respectively India and Pakistan reveals the agony from which an entire generation suffers from both side of the border. The film is directed by Vijay Raaz and it is his debut film. Vijay Raaz also stars in the lead role beside Manu Rishi, Raj Zutshi and Vishwajeet Pradhan in other roles.
Angry Young Man ()
The action drama film is based on the typical notion on anger ridden male youth and his journey of taking revenge in the life's turmoil. Hawaa Hawaai is an inspirational drama film based on the struggle of young sporting kids and their beloved coach. Koyelaanchal (9th May Release)
This action movie is drawing on the much repeated theme of adversary between an honest government official and a local goon cum mafia. The storyline is too common but thanks to the veteran actor Vinod Khanna in the role of the Mafia and Suniel Shetty as protagonist the movie can claim good business at box office. The movie is directed by Ashu Trikha and stars Vinod Khanna, Suniel Shetty and Vipino in principal roles.
Mastram()
Among the upcoming Bollywood movies Mastram seems irresistible simply because of its unusual storyline. This is probably the only Bollywood movie of the month with a adult theme and an uncommon storyline. A small town bank clerk aspires to be a litterateur but as he fails to get a deal from a publisher, one of his acquaintances offers him to write stories with pornographic material. Initially he felt utterly reluctant though in the end takes the job and get a success. But in spite of becoming successful through his own capability with words he is only paid for his work and do not get credit. The movie is directed by Akhilesh Jaiswal and stars Rahul Bagga and Tasha Berry in lead roles. The film premiered on 2013 Mumbai Film Festival and got good applause from the spectators.
Yeh Hai Bakrapur()
This comedy film has a lot of mind boggling social elements to offer a great viewing experience. It is a social satire that layer by layer shows the falsity of many of our belief systems and social norms. A farmer in Rajasthan facing a great tragedy becomes forced to move to Mumbai with his family and children and then how he copes up with the challenging reality of a big city that makes a worth watching celluloid story.
