Ranchi, Feb 20 (IANS) Hockey India League (HIL) Thursday advanced the timings for the first semifinal Feb 22 and the bronze medal playoff Feb 23 by 30 minutes.
The first semifinal and the third-fourth position playoff, earlier scheduled for 6 p.m., will now be played at 5.30 p.m at the Morabadi Astroturf Hockey Stadium here. The change has been made to accommodate additional training period for teams between the matches.
The first semifinal will see the Delhi Waveriders take on the Uttar Pradesh Wizards while the Jaypee Punjab Warriors will face defending champions Ranchi Rhinos in the second last four clash.
