Stockholm, January 19 (ANI): 'Haribo' has pulled black-faced liquorice off their production line after customers complained their design played on racist caricatures.
The director of the German candy-making company said that he they understand the reason for the criticism and have withdrawn it as it is important to listen to the customers, the Local reported.
The candy sold in the company's Skipper Mix packets had black liquorice faces on it, which was meant to represent a captain's trip around the world. (ANI)
