Melbourne, Jan. 11 (ANI): Cate Blanchett has won the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) international award in Los Angeles on Friday.
The 44-year-old Australian actress won Best Lead Actress for her work in Blue Jasmine, beating out Amy Adams- 'American Hustle', Sandra Bullock- 'Gravity', Judi Dench- 'Philomena', and Meryl Streep- 'August: Osage County', News.com.au reported.
However, the five are expected to compete for the best actress Oscar when the nominations are revealed. (ANI)
