Karachi, Jan 3 (ANI): Pakistan is reportedly still mulling over committing to the upcoming World Twenty20 and the Asia Cup events in Bangladesh and will consult the government about sending a team due to the continuing political unrest in the host nation.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will consult ICC, Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and the Pakistani government regarding their participation in Asia Cup and ICC World T20 championship being staged in Bangladesh.

According to The Dawn, a PCB official said that the body was concerned about the situation because many of the protests in Bangladesh were being aimed at Pakistan, adding that the inter-management committee of the cricket board was given a detailed briefing on the upcoming tournaments scheduled in Bangladesh.

The committee was also briefed on the current status with regard to the litigation in Islamabad High Court (IHC), the report added. (ANI)
