Nightingale of India, Lata Mangeshkar turned 84 on Saturday and the entire nation is wishing her "Happy Birthday" through any media due the magic she has created with the mystical and melodious voice for over seven decades.
Born on September 28, 1929 Lata Mangeshkar was inspired by her father Master Dinanath Mangeshkar, who was a Marathi singer and actor. As a singer Lata started her career as a singer in 1942 and has sung in more than 1000 Hindi films and has sung songs in more than thirty-six regional Indian languages and foreign languages.
