Delhi Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr Yoganand Shastri inaugurated the renovation and Carpeting work of Road at L Block of Saket in South Delhi. On this occasion local Councilor Anita Choudhary, MCD officials and other dignitaries were also present.
On this occasion, Dr. Shastri, who is also MLA from Mehrauli, said to improve the condition of pedestrian path, road signage and carpeting of roads at Saket area around Rs. eight crore will spend on the development work. Apart from this, the drainage system will also be renovated in Saket for the welfare of the people. He also directed the officers to complete the work in stimulated time.
Speaker further said the Delhi Government is working hard to provide smooth Public Transport System to the citizens of capital. To improve the Public Transport System in the Saket, the frequency of Public Transport Buses have been increased and more buses are to be introduced for the better inter connectivity.
He said that the construction of road will facilitate smooth movement of traffic and will ensure that no traffic jam occurs as it will save the time and fuel of the citizens.
