India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been ruled out of the ongoing tri-series between India, West Indies and Sri Lanka in the West Indies. Dhoni pulled off a hamstring injury in India's first match of Tri Series against the West Indies at the Sabina Park on Sunday.

Virat Kohli has been named as the Indian Captain for the rest of the series and Ambati Rayudu has been picked up as Dhoni’s replacement in the squad.

A statement released by BCCI read, "All-India Senior Selection Committee has picked Ambati Rayudu as his replacement in the squad. Rayudu will join the team at the earliest".

India will take on Sri Lanka today at Sabina Park. Both teams have lost their opening matches to West Indies and are looking for their first points of the tournament.

After the match, the focus will shift to the Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad, for the remaining three preliminary matches and the final.
