Susi Ganesh's directorial "Shortcut Romeo", starring Neil Nitin Mukesh and Ameesha Patel in the lead role is another big release after "Raanjhanaa" this Friday.
Shortcut Romeo is a remake of Tamil director Susi Ganesh's 'Thiruttu Payale' and from this he is also making his debut in Bollywood direction.
Neil Nitin Mukesh , who plays Suraj in 'Shortcut Romeo' who is basically good for nothing and sent to his uncle's house in Mumbai from Goa after he injures his younger brother. There he indulges in physical relationships with some girls and makes their videos and blackmail them to earn money. He really finds this a shortcut way to earn money.
Later he gets involved with Monica (Ameesha Patel), who was already married and having extra-marital affair with Suraj. Now when Suraj starts blackmailing her, she offers lots of money to him that Suraj refuses to take as he strive for more luxury and money throughout his life.
Later, Suraj meets Sherry (Puja Gupta) and falls in love with her. In tmean while the cat and mouse game between Monica and Suraj continues until Monica's husband Rahul (Rajesh Shringapure) hires a private detective to find the truth.
Shortcut Romeo completely fails to create any impression among the audiences and lacks in many parts. Moreover, Indian audiences are not very fond of watching such type of socially unacceptable movies, which would certainly affect the film.
