NDMC initiative to keep 'Teacher fit for student hit'

NDMC has focus on the initiative to fit the teachers to find the better results for the corporation schools. NDMC has decided to launch a drive to check up the health of teachers under the move 'Teacher fit to students hit.' NDMC has decided to sensitize the teachers to further create health and other awareness programme among the students.

The Chairman Education Committee of NDMC, Rekha Gupta today said that that the all-10000 teachers would be medically checked-up with the help of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

She was speaking on the occasion of a seminar organised in Collaboration with All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) and Rotary Club of Delhi Safdurjung by the Education Committee of NDMC.

She said that it is need to first keep teachers fit so that they can educate and built students for their good and bright future.

She said that the teachers of Municipal Schools will be sensitized in the batches of fifty to further create awareness among the students against different kind of Cancer. This drive would continue till one year to cover all its teachers. She said 'Teacher fit to students hit'.
