India collapses on Day 4 of 3rd Test Match, Australia trails by 16 runs

Australia was 75 for 3 in their second innings and trailed India by 16 runs at stumps on Day 4 of the second Test match of Border-Gavaskar trophy being played at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was splendid with his swing bowling and took all the three Australia wickets of David Warner, Ed Cowan and Steven Smith.

Earlier India was all out on 499 runs in response to Australia's first innings of 408. Playing ahead Shikhar Dhawan fell early to Lyon at 187. His wicket started the collapse of Indian batting and one by one they kept on coming and going back. Murli Vijay was out at 153, Kohli tried to consolidate the innings with his 67 not out but no other batsmen stood with him.
