Story:
Story of the film revolves around a struggling lawyer from Meerut, Jagdish Tyagi aka Jolly. Jolly is not a good lawyer, his English is week and he messes things up in few cases he gets. He has a dream of becoming India's greatest lawyer and to fulfill his dream, he comes to Delhi to look for one case that will turn his fate.
Fortunately or Unfortunately he gets involved in a hit-and run case, where a drunk person kills few people by his car. The drunk person is a rich man and he is being represented by India's most popular and expensive lawyer, Rajpal. No one is ready to take the case and hence Jolly steps in seeking this as the opportunity he has been waiting for.
What follows next is the story of Jolly LLB.

Subhash Kapoor is a tremendously brilliant director. It is reflected by the fact that just after watching this movie Raju Hirani has given him the command to direct the 3rd part of Munna Bhai series.
Subhash's story is brilliant and a complete satire on the judicial system of India. The courtrooms are shown just as they are in reality.
Arshad has proved time and again that he is a brilliant actor and with his role as Jolly is another display of his sheer brilliance. Boman is a genius, he shines in any role director give him. There is not much to do for Amrita in this film but she makes her presence felt.
