R..Rajkumar Movie Review: Don't watch even if you have money and time to spare

"To be frank, R..Rajkumar is a total disaster from the word go. Every aspect of the films lacks something whether it is acting, direction or cinematography. You will be cursing yourself to why did you chose to watch it."

Story and Review:

Rajkumar played by Shahid Kapoor is an aimless youth and fighter who work as a henchman for a drug lord Shivraj (Sonu Sood). He sees Chanda (Sonakshi Sinha) beating up some people and falls in love with her.

He tries all types of stupid ways that are too aggressive sometimes, to woo Chanda. And contrary to what an actual girl would do, Chanda falls in love with him too.

Shivraj has a rival in the name of Manik Parmar (Ashish Vidyarthi) who he wants dead, so he sends Rajkumar. But everything change when Rajkumar finds out that Chanda is an orphan who's been raised by her uncle - Manik Parmar.

Manik then tries to bring peace among the two drug gangs by offering Chanda's hand to Shivraj.

And this creates a love triangle and Rajkumar realizes that he has to destroy both gangs in order to win her love back.

The story of R..Rajkumar is not original, there is nothing you haven't seen before. It lacks strong dialogues. Director and writer have tried to induce comedy scenes but have failed miserably.

Shahid cannot be Salman, Akshay or Ajay Devgn. He is not convincing when it comes to beating up guys that are way to bigger than him. He has tried hard to be rustic and angry but unfortunately he too has failed.

It is time for Sonakshi to stop taking up same type of roles and do something else. And her pair with Shahid is a complete mismatch. So should Sonu Sood.

Prabhu Deva should stop trying to bring South Indian films to Bollywood by remaking them in Hindi, instead should work on some real stories.

Overall, film is a complete failure. If you are lucky, you will walk out of it in half-time but if you are not than accept my condolence..
