Mumbai, Dec.31 (ANI): The All-India Senior Selection Committee met at the Cricket Centre here on Tuesday and picked the Indian teams for the ODI series and Test series against New Zealand, to be played in January-February 2014.
For the one-day series, the five-member selection committee decided to axe left-hand all-rounder Yuvraj Singh owing to poor form, and included debutants Stuart Binny and Ishwar Pandey. Varun Aaron also returns to the national squad after recovering from injury.
Pandey also makes it to the Test squad, which otherwise remains unchanged from the one selected for the tour of South Africa. Left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha again finds himself out of favour for a tour abroad.
