Kejriwal retains Home, Finance, Planning and Power: Sisodia Education Minister

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal allocated portfolios to his counsel of Ministers. He, as Chief Minister has retain the portfolios of Home, Finance, Vigilance, Services, Planning, Power and all other Departments not allocated elsewhere.

He has allocated the Departments of education, Higher education, PWD, Urban Development, Local Bodies, Land & Building & Revenue to Manish Sisodia, Department of Administrative Reforms, Law, Tourism and Art & Culture to Somnath Bharti, Department of Food & Supply, Transport, Environment, Election and GAD to Saurabh Bharadwaj, Department of Women & Child Welfare, Social Welfare and Languages to Ms Rakhi Birla, Department of SC-ST, Employment, Development and Skill Mission & Labour to Sh. Girish Soni and Department of Health, Industries & Gurudwara election to Sh. Satyender Jain.

Apart from the allocation of above portfolios, rooms to the newly sworn in Ministers have also been allotted. While Sh. Arvind Kejriwal will retain the chief ministers room at level 3rd in Delhi Sachivalaya, Ms Rakhi Birla has been allotted room no. 801 at level 8th, Sh. Saurabh Bharadwaj has been allotted room no. 808 at the same level, Sh. Manish Sisodia has been allotted room no. 608 at level 6th, Sh. Girish Soni has been allotted room no. 601 at the same level, Sh. Somnath Bharti has been allotted room no. 708 at level 7th, Sh. Satyender Jain has been allotted room no. 701 at the same level.

New secretaries to Ministers have also been posted. C. Arvind has been posted as Secretary to Sh. Manish Sisodia, Vinay Bhushan, as Secretary to Sh. Somnath Bharti, Sh. D. Verma Secretary to Ms Rakhi Birla, P. K. Panda Secretary to Satyender Jain, C Uday Kumar Secretary to Girish Soni and Sh. G. Sudhakar Secretary to Sh. Saurabh Bharadwaj.
