Ranchi, Dec. 16 (ANI): Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad Yadav who was released from the Birsa Jail in Ranchi on Monday said, political parties in Delhi are too scared to form a government.
"Now we have political parties in Delhi who want to fight elections, but don't want to form a government, as they are too scared of disappointing the public," said Yadav.
"Winning and losing is a part of politics, and it is not a big deal if the Congress has lost," he said.
Responding to a question on Anna Hazare's recent hunger strike for the Lokpal Bill, he said people like Anna Hazare wanted to subvert the courts by bringing in the Lokpal.
Yadav, 65, was granted bail on Friday.
He was convicted along with dozens of others for his involvement in a 1990s animal fodder racket in Bihar in which crores of rupees was siphoned off.
Yadav was the chief minister of Bihar for most of the 1990s and was succeeded by his wife (ANI)
