London, Mon, 09 Dec 2013 ANI

London, Dec 9 (ANI): Roy Hodgson and his England players will need vaccinations against Rabies and Yellow Fever before they head for their Brazil World Cup rumble in the jungle, according to reports.

According to the Mirror, innoculations against Rabies, Yellow Fever, Typhoid, Diptheria and more will be needed well in advance of travelling.

It doesn't look like a jungle, but the Manaus' stadium is surrounded by areas with strict FCO health guidelines, the report said.

Foreign Office advice for travellers to the Amazon region of Brazil, especially in June and July, is for a batch of jabs to innoculate against a range of potentially deadly equatorial diseases, the report added.

Rabies, Yellow Fever, Typhoid, Diptheria and Hepatitis A and B injections will be required at least 10 days before the England squad arrive in Manaus on June 12, 48 hours ahead of their opening Group D clash with Italy,as well as Tetanus boosters, the report added.

The medical requirements will form a major element of the FA's key World Cup planning meeting at Wembley a week today, the report further said. (ANI)
