Ranchi, Dec 9 (IANS) Jharkhand police personnel had a close shave as two vehicles carrying 11 policemen passed just a few seconds before Maoist guerrillas triggered a landmine blast in Latehar district of the state Monday.
Around 11 policemen in the vehicles were on regular patrol. The guerrillas triggered the landmine blast Monday afternoon near Hurhuri village in Latehar district, around 130 km from the state capital Ranchi.
The blast left a three-feet crater.
The Maoists are active in 18 of the 24 districts in the state.
