London, December 5 (ANI): Britain has struck a deal with China to export 45 million pounds worth of pig semen.
The unusual pact signed by Environment Secretary Owen Paterson, who is part of the British delegation taken to China by David Cameron, will allow inseminating Chinese pigs to get healthier and more productive breeds, the Mirror reported.
UK firms are looking to sell pigs trotters, which are regarded as waste product in the UK but are a delicacy in China.
The first export is expected to start in the spring of 2014. (ANI)
