Melbourne, November 30 (ANI): An Australian scientist has revealed that stem cell cures may be the solution to some of the most dreadful illnesses.
Professor Alan Trounson said that stem-cell cures for inherited blood disorders and HIV/AIDS are close to completion and added that several promising clinical trials are taking place, News.com.au reported.
The head of California's multi-billion dollar stem cell agency added that therapies for Type 1 diabetes are being trialed and a correction or cure is almost certain.
He also revealed that there are going to be "big changes" in the next five years. (ANI)
