New Delhi, Nov. 23, (ANI): Taking dig at Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid on Saturday said the idea of India will be greatly endangered by some of the elements in the BJP's ideology.
"If we think that was bad, then, what is happening today is awful. The BJP's leadership is tragically crawling, to the presence of someone, they have been forced to name as their prime ministerial candidate. Have you seen happy, smiling faces of the BJP leaders in the last two months? I haven't," said Khurshid.
"I think what is happening is in a sense, a tragedy for the BJP. We don't have sympathy for their point of view. We oppose it. We rigorously resist their idea of imposing their kind of regime on India," said Khurshid.
"I think the BJP is in a particularly pathetic sad state, and it is not good for democracy," said Khurshid
"Have you heard any great speech made by any BJP leader in the last two months? I think someone, who is generous and has the capacity, should step in to save the BJP," said Khurshid. (ANI)
