London, Nov 23 (ANI): Sony has revealed its plan of creating a series of spin-off films around the 'Amazing Spider-man'.
The company will tap into Spider-Man's allies and villains, which include Green Goblin and Venom, Metro.co.uk reported.
According to The Wrap, Amy Pascal, co-chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment revealed the plans at a presentation to investors.
She said that they are going to access Marvel's full world of Spider-Man characters.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2, a reboot of the Marvel character after the Tobey Maguire trilogy, stars Andrew Garfield as the webslinger and is due to be released in April next year. (ANI)
