New Delhi, Nov 9 (IANS) Singer-actress Monica Dogra will release her first solo music video on the pioneer episode of the new season of television music show "The Dewarists" Sunday.
Closely associated with the country's indie music scene, Dogra has been busy putting together her first ever solo music album and she found a unique way to make her first foray as an independent artist special.
While she was away in Manali, shooting for the latest season of "The Dewarists", she was also set on a mission to write, conceptualise and even shoot her first music video for the album.
Keeping in sync with the show's format, Monica's free inspiration were the picturesque landscapes of Manali to write the lyrics of her first song, and to even shoot her music video.
The album, slated to release in December, has a compilation of seven songs, five of which are produced by Gaurav Raina from Midivil Punditz, and two others by Prashant Mistry from Engine Earz.
Meanwhile, the video will be launched on "The Dewarists", which goes on air on MTV Sunday.
