London, November 3 (ANI): Officials are urging motorist to not engage in taking "selfies" while driving, after a new Instagram craze involving uploading self-taken pictures hit the internet.
The road safety officials are alarmed by the millions of people who have already taken photos of themselves while behind the wheel and then posted them up on the popular picture sharing site, Metro.co.uk reported.
Linda Degutis, US National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, said that it is especially risky for young, inexperienced drivers, who are already extremely vulnerable to crashes and distraction when they are behind the wheel. (ANI)
