If Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) comes to power in Delhi, it will bring the Jan Lok Pal bill before ending the year 2013, claimed AAP founder Arvind Kejriwal here on Saturday, who is eyeing to Delhi as his first target.

"I assure you that by December 29, we will have Anna's Jan Lokpal Bill in place. If the Aam Aadmi Party's Government is formed, we will call a Special Session on December 29 and pass the Jan Lokpal Bill," Kejriwal told media today in the capital.

Arvind's claim regarding gaining power in Delhi came a day after the Election Commission's announcement regarding the date of polling in five states in India.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) Friday announced the date of election in five states - Delhi, Rajasthan, Mizoram, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh in which polling will be held on December 04 in Delhi.

Attacking on United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government, Kejriwal said that UPA government has betrayed the nation and if his party will come into power, it's first priority would be to fight for the people's cause.

"Our crusade against corruption will continue," he added.

The bureaucrat -turned -social activist -turned politician alleged that the Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are two sides of the same coin.

"What development has the Congress done in Delhi? What work has the BJP done in MCD? You can't get your work done without bribes," he said.

Kejriwal claimed that his party would get votes based on the history of BJP and Congress, as the two political outfits have failed miserably.

The Model Code of Conduct has come into force in five states, including Delhi, going for the assembly polls.

Voters in all the five states of Delhi, Rajasthan, Mizoram, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh will for the first time have the choice of 'None of the above option' to reject the candidates contesting the election in a constituency.

Chief Election Commissioner V S Sampath, who announced the poll schedule yesterday, said except Chhattisgarh where polls will be held in two phases, all other four states will have single-phase polls.

The elections will be held in Chhattisgarh on 11th and 19th November. While in Madhya Pradesh, the polls will be on 25th November and in Rajasthan on 1st December. The election in Delhi and Mizoram will be held on 4th December.

Counting of votes in all the states will take place on 8th December.
