Orlando Bloom-Miranda Kerr split had been coming for a year, say pals

New York, Oct. 26 (ANI): Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr's split has been "coming for a year," according to friends.

The couple were apart for a lot of the last year, focusing on their busy careers, the New York Post reported.

The 36-year-old actor was busy filming the final installments of 'The Hobbit' and 'Zulu' in South Africa while the former Victoria's Secret model has been travelling all around for her modeling career and building her brand, which includes a skincare line, KORA Organics.

Kerr had sparked speculations of marital trouble after last year's Victoria's Secret show by partying late with teen icon Justin Bieber, but her reps had said that she and the 19-year-old singer were pals and her marriage to Bloom was solid.

The couple wed in July 2010, and their son, Flynn, was born Jan. 6, 2011. On Friday, the couple issued a joint statement that stated that they were separating after 3 years of marriage. (ANI)
