Naval chief lauds NCC cadets at DGNCC Republic Day camp

Admiral Devendra Kumar Joshi, Chief of Naval Staff, has said that NCC is a premier youth organisation single mindedly engaged in grooming Nation's Future leaders, empowering them to don the mantle of Country's leadership as well as excel in all walks of life.

His wife Chitra Joshi accompanied him during his visited to the DG NCC Republic Day Camp at Delhi Cantt today.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief of Naval Staff praised the Cadets for presenting an impressive 'Guard of Honour'. He was visibly impressed by the smart turnout, drill and high standard of briefing and exhibits by Cadets.

The Naval Chief also highlighted the noble contributions of NCC Cadets towards Nation Building and also for their indomitable spirits and empathy during Disaster Management. He also urged the NCC Cadets to join the armed forces and serve the motherland to the best of their abilities.

The Naval Chief thereafter visited the NCC 'Hall of Fame' where he was briefed by Cadets. The Admiral was then driven around the NCC Camp 'Rajpath', the road lined with structures on either side for accommodating Cadets of different State Contingents.

The Naval Chief later witnessed a sterling cultural performance by multi talented Cadets based on rich Indian Culture in the NCC Auditorium.
