Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde Thursday told media about received information regarding Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) founder Hafiz Saeed and visa policy with Pakistan.
According to Home Minister, the investigating agencies in India has got information regarding LeT founder Hafiz Saeed that he had recently visited Pakistan-administered Kashmir and held talks to localities.
"(There) has been information that Saeed entered PoK (Pakistan-occupied Kashmir) area and had talked with some people," Shinde told a press conference here.
However, he did not specify if Saeed was present in the area across Poonch district.
There have been reports that Saeed, wanted by India in connection with the Mumbai terror attack of 2008, was in the region a few days before Pakistani troops ambushed and killed two Indian soldiers.
Talking about the visa policy with Pakistan, he said that 'there would be no change'.
"Whatever the (visa) agreement entered into, it will be carried out," he said.
Shinde's statement came two days after the gruesome incident held at Line of Control (LoC) between India and Pakistan near Poonch district where Pakistani troops had killed two Indian soldiers and injured one. They had also brutally mutilated their bodies.
After the ghastly incident, there has been demand from various quarters that India review its visa policy with Pakistan.
