London, Sept 21 (ANI): William Shatner, who played the iconic Captain James T. Kirk in Star Trek, is apparently afraid of flying.
Shatner turned down Richard Branson's offer of flying in Virgin Galactic's SpaceShip Two, as he is afraid of flying, the Daily Express reported.
The 82-year-old billionaire said that Shatner told him that there was no guarantee that he would come back.
Shatner, who was given the opportunity in 2011, was required to pay the 125,000 pound bill in full by himself.
Virgin Airlines have already sold 700 tickets for their space flights, which is set to launch in 2014. (ANI)
