Sydney, Sept. 7 (ANI): Former NBA star Dennis Rodman has met North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on his second visit to the country.
News.com.au reports that the two had a cordial talk and Kim invited Rodman back again any time.
The report added that the two watched a basketball game together and Kim hosted a dinner for the sports star.
There were no reports of jailed American missionary Kenneth Bae, who is currently serving a 15-year sentence of hard labor in North Korea for attempting to overthrow the communist government.
Although Kim has the power to grant special pardons under the North's constitution, Rodman did not express any wish to seek Bae's release on his visit to North Korea.
Rodman said in Beijing before his flight to Pyongyang that he just wanted to meet his friend Kim and start a basketball league over there. (ANI)
