Tokyo, Aug.26 (ANI):Ebara Thailand Limited (ETL), a subsidiary of Japan's Ebara group recently held an opening ceremony for its workshop that had ceased operations due to damages from the 2011 floods in Thailand.
By restarting its full-scale operations at the newly relocated workshop, ETL will further strengthen its foundation as a provider of products and repairs in Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries.
The group also has plans to participate in an exhibition in rapidly developing Myanmar in October.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of EBARA Corporation's venture into the Thailand market.
The group has already built an extensive track record with its delivery of large-size pumps for irrigation and flood control, as well as water pumps for high-rise buildings and large-scale commercial facilities in Thailand.
The ETL also marked its 20th anniversary in July this year as a part of which the employees took part in local beach cleanup activities and visited an aid relief facility.
"We hope to push forward with our business in our belief that the coexistence of ETL and Thailand will contribute to the substantial development of Thailand as well as Asia," said Katsufumi Nakano, Managing Director of ETL.
Originally founded to design and manufacture pumps, the Ebara Corporation will contribute to the development of Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries by continuing to provide pumps as well as other products and services. (ANI)
