Washington, August 25 (ANI): A porn industry trade group has confirmed that pornstar Cameron Bay has tested positive for HIV, which resulted in the temporary shut down of the industry.
Bay, who released her official statement through the Free Speech Coalition, said that this news is difficult for her and she hopes no other performer is affected, ABC News reported.
She said that she plans on doing everything possible to assist the medical professionals and her co-performers, and will focus on taking care of herself and her health.
Mark Schechter, who is Bay's agent, said that adult film star is "obviously distraught".
Schechter said that Bay has been a model citizen and acting responsibly at this most difficult time. (ANI)
