Ex-Sugababe Mutya Buena 'vows not to let daughter follow in her footsteps'

London , Fri, 23 Aug 2013 ANI

London, August 23 (ANI): Mutya Buena, who rose to fame as a member of girl group 'Sugababe,' has banned her daughter from following in her music-making footsteps.

When the mum-of-one was asked by ES Magazine if she would like to see her 8-year-old daughter, Tahlia, enter the music business, she bluntly replied with "Never", Metro.co.uk reported.

The singer, however, offered sound advice to those who may want to try their luck in the music world and said that it is important to make sure that one has the right support and backing.

Buena added that people who are aspiring to enter the show business should take their time and always remember that talent never dies.

Buena has recently formed a new band 'MKS' with her old band mates, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy, for a second crack at the charts. (ANI)
