New York, August 22 (ANI): Simon Cowell reportedly met pregnant gal-pal Lauren Silverman's estranged husband Andrew Silverman privately to settle matters with him which resulted in his name being kept out of the divorce proceedings.
The 53-year old music mogul secretly met Andrew to avoid being publicly criticized for impregnating his wife, before the Silvermans signed divorce papers and legally ended their 10-year marriage, at Westhampton airport a few weeks ago, the New York Post reported.
Sources revealed that Cowell and his legal team were determined to remove his name from the divorce papers Andrew filed in Manhattan Court to prevent him being tarnished.
Cowell reportedly made Andrew feel good and told him that though he feels bad about the situation, he will take care of everything and hoped they will remain friends.
But recently their representatives issuing a joint statement stating that this news was completely untrue, adding that the fabricated account came from an uninformed person trying to advance their own desperate agenda. (ANI)
