New Delhi, August 21 (ANI): John Abraham, who was recently spotted promoting his forthcoming movie 'Madras Cafe' in New Delhi, has cleared the air surrounding the film's release in Tamil Nadu.

The controversy regarding the movie started after a pro-Tamil outfit named Naam Tamilar, headed by Tamil film director Seeman, announced that they wouldn't allow the movie to be released in Tamil Nadu, on grounds that it depicted LTTE cadres as terrorists.

While talking to the media, the 40-year-old actor asserted that no one could stop him from showing his flick to all his fans, irrespective of the controversies.

"I respect everybody's opinion, I respect Mr. Seeman's opinion his perspective. But it's very important to know that even our opinion, it's a democracy and we are allowed to and if censor board has given us a UA certificate so according to me I don't think there is any objections but we know we have made a good film and we will definitely show this film to our audience," he said.

The handsome hunk stated that his upcoming film is not pro or anti any establishment or any group of people.

"I go on record and I say one thing, this film is not pro or anti any establishment or any group of people or other so I am very clear about that. I just feel that everybody has certain point of view we have our own point of view which we have shown through this film," Abraham said.

The 'Zinda' star admitted that he respects other people's point of view and that his cast and crew have made a very honest film.

"If other people have different point of view and they want to raise it for their own political agenda I can't stop them from doing that they are most welcome to do so. I can only say that we have made a very honest film the fact that we have come here to present an honest film is a reason enough to show that we are credible with what we have done," he added.
