Bangalore, Aug 21 (IANS) Indian Badminton League (IBL) Bangalore-based franchise Banga Beats Wednesday announced a tie-up with PlayUp, a mobile based social network for live coverage.
The tie-up would create a digital social fan engagement for badminton for the Bangalore based team.
Speaking on the association, former Australian cricket captain Steve Waugh, the brand ambassador of PlayUp, said: "I am very excited that fans, players, brands and sponsors are getting behind badminton. It is an encouraging trend and I wholeheartedly support it. Banga Beats association with PlayUp will help deliver real-time content from on and off court to badminton fans across the world."
