Mumbai, Aug 19 (IANS) Anil Patil, chairman of Vedicure Group of Companies, has announced that he will produce Marathi feature films and plays under his banner Samudrika Motion Pictures Pvt Ltd.
A healer by profession and a cinema lover at heart, Patil always wanted to be part of the movie-making business.
"I am a doctor by profession, but I have grown up on a healthy dose of Indian cinema and even now I enjoy it. So, the choice to foray into the film industry was not tough at all," Patil said in a statement.

"I chose Marathi as a medium for my cinema because of my love and faith in it and the potential that I know it has," he added.
Samudrika Motions Pictures will roll out two films - "Jayastute" and "Samindara". The movies will hit the floors in October this year. The principal shoot for the films is schedules to happen in Mumbai and Konkan.
