New Delhi, Aug. 17 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee has greeted the nation on the occasion of the Parsi New Year.
"On the auspicious occasion of the Parsi New Year, 'Navroz', I extend my greetings and good wishes to all my fellow citizens particularly my Parsi brothers and sisters," he said in his message.
President Mukherjee further said 'Navroz' symbolizes new beginnings and is seen as a harbinger of peace and prosperity.
"The festival reminds us of the rich diversity and inclusiveness of our culture.
May this festival bring peace and prosperity in the lives of all people and reinforce our commitment to synthesis, harmony and goodwill towards all," he added. (ANI)
