Washington, Aug. 9 (ANI): A North American firm has reinvented the age old credit card and given it a fresh look which can be personalized with varied prints.
According to the Fox News, Dynamics Inc. has invented a flexible collection of embedded electronics that allows for the old magnetic strip to be easily reprogrammed boosting security and letting the customer access a wide variety of rewards program.
CEO Jeff Mullen said that the technology is made in the US and then the device is personalized with credit card number and holograms and then the reward processing is done in data centers across the US.
As the magazine stripe is buried in the card unlike the old cards which are made from a liquid mixture of magnetic filaments that are poured onto the card and hardened, it allows for printing on the top for the first time ever.
Mullen said that the company is printing American flags on the mag stripes of their credit cards adding that his model of design and manufacturing in the US could be a smarter choice for other high-tech companies, the report added. (ANI)
