London, Aug 6 (ANI): Mercedes boss Ross Brawn has said that despite Lewis Hamilton's commanding victory in Hungary, the team cannot be confident about being on top of their long-standing tyre problems.
According to Sky Sports, managing thermal tyre degradation has long proved Mercedes' Achilles heel, but in wake of the introduction of revised Pirelli tyres at the Hungaroring, there were no signs of such problems in the 35C-plus track temperatures.
However, the team principal said that the tyres were strong moving targets, and with three specs of tyre this year, he was not sure whether the present tyre is the one that will suit them more than anyone else. (ANI)
