Sydney, July 23 (ANI): Cricket Germany has been the latest to ridicule Australia's cricketers by saying that they could replace England as Australia's opponents, after Australia's dismal loss in the second Ashes Test at Lord's.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Germany's offer might just be an exaggeration because Australia could still come back from 2-0 with Tests in Manchester, Durham and the Oval still left.
The report said that a lot of expectations were there from the Ashes series after the surrounding drama and Australia had lost a close Test match in Lords but the Lord's match had told them the truth.
However, the two Tests so far have not lacked talking points, romance, controversy or classic Ashes snapshots, such as Ashton Agar's 98 in Nottingham and Joe Root's 180 and two major wickets at Lord's, the report added. (ANI)
