New Delhi, July 19 (ANI): Union Minister for Tribal Affairs V. Kishore Chandra Deo has called upon the states to cooperate with the centre in protecting the rights of the tribals.
"In no case the provisions of "The Scheduled Tribes and other Forest Dwellers Recognition of Forest Rights Act-2006" be violated and every government must be sincere and vigilant in its proper implementation, Deo told the media here.
" While taking up developmental initiatives like industry and mining, the traditional faiths, beliefs and lifestyles of tribals and other forest dwellers as well as environmental issues must not be ignored," he added.
