London, July 12 (ANI): British singer Annie Lennox's 'Sweet Dreams' has topped the poll of the most misquoted songs ever.
In a list of 'sing-a-wrong' lyrics, the chorus, sung by the 'Eurythmics' band member, 58, is frequently altered to "sweet dreams are made of cheese" instead of "this", the Daily Star reported.
Other misquoted tracks comprise of Rihanna's 'We Found Love in a hopeless place', which is changed to 'we found dove in a soapless place', and Bon Jovi's 'Livin' On a Prayer' 'it doesn't make a difference if we make it or not' is sung as, 'it doesn't make a difference if we're naked or not'.
The director of online music service Spotify, which carried out the survey, Will Hope, said that music lovers have named a mix of classic and current tracks.
Hope added that all sorts of different music fans make funny mistakes. (ANI)
