Bangalore, July 11 (ANI): Karnataka Janata Paksha (KJP) chief and former state chief minister B. S. Yeddyurappa has denied rumors of his return to the BJP saying that he has not received any formal communication from either the party's state or central leadership.
"There have been some reports in the media about my return to BJP. Let me clarify, I have not received any formal or official communication either from the state or the Central leadership." he said.
Yeddyurappa, meanwhile, has called for a meeting today with his party members to discuss the party's political strengths and strategies for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
"We are going to discuss in detail how to strengthen the party and prepare for the next coming Lok Sabha elections. So, we are not going to join any political party at all, that question does not arise. We want to keep our separate identity in the coming days,' he added.
He further added that he would also be discussing the idea of supporting BJP from outside with his senior colleagues in the meeting. (ANI)
