Edinburgh, July 10 (ANI): British No.2 female tennis player Heather Watson has said that she is taking inspiration from Andy Murray and Laura Robson's success story at Wimbledon as she tries to return to playing her best tennis following an injury.
According to The Scotsman, Watson is preparing for a hard block of training in the United States and get back to peak form and fitness before her next tournament in Washington, which starts on July 29.
The report said that Heather was playing in only her fourth tournament since two months out with glandular fever and admitted that after the Keys defeat, she was still feeling the effects of her time off.
The Brit also said that she derived loads of inspiration from what Andy managed at Wimbledon along with her loss.
Watson had made the third round at Wimbledon in 2012 but lost to upcoming American player Madison Keys this year, dropping to 68th in the recent rankings. (ANI)
