London, June 8 (ANI): A news study suggests that men like to keep hold of their old-tech mementos.

A staggering 77 percent still own a cherished collection of music they never play and photographs or computer data they don't look at, the Daily Express reported.

It's wonderful to bring these sentimental memories back to life for future generations to enjoy.

A total of 47 percent have vinyl singles and LPs but no longer own a turntable.

And 45 percent still possess cassettes even though they scrapped the player years before.

Some 39 percent have films on video tapes despite upgrading to DVDs, BluRay and streaming movies via the internet.

Nineteen percent have treasured photo slides taken on pre-digital cameras that are stored away because they no longer have a viewer or projector.

A further 17 percent have floppy disks though their laptop or tablet only takes memory sticks, a survey for electronics specialist Maplin found. (ANI)
